About
A local practice for you.
Northline is a local psychiatric practice in East Lyme, Connecticut. We’re building it the way we’d want to be cared for ourselves.
Why we started Northline
Most of what’s marketed as “online mental health” was built for scale, not for people. Quick text exchanges with whoever’s available. Five-minute med checks. Subscriptions you forget to cancel. Care that feels designed by a financial model rather than by people who’ve actually been a patient.
Northline is different on purpose. We’re an in-person practice in East Lyme, Connecticut. You’ll have a clinician who actually knows you. The visits are long enough to do meaningful work. We’re in-network with most insurance, so you don’t have to pay cash to get specialty care. And when life is busy, you can do your visit by secure video from home or work.
What we believe
- People deserve continuity. You should see the same clinician every visit.
- Care should fit your life. In-person when it matters, telehealth when it makes sense.
- Insurance should work. We do the prior-authorization paperwork. We give you a clear cost estimate up front.
- Honest conversations matter. Five-minute med checks aren’t enough. Our follow-ups make room for actual therapy when that’s helpful.
- Track what matters. We use the same brief check-ins research uses, so progress is visible.
