Conditions
What we treat
Most of what brings adults to a psychiatrist. If we’re not the right fit for what you’re going through, we’ll help you find someone who is.

- Bipolar disorder — bipolar I and bipolar II.
- Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) — severe mood symptoms tied to your cycle.
- Postpartum depression — coordinated with your OB/GYN.
Anxiety
- Generalized anxiety, social anxiety, phobias
- Panic disorder — one of the most treatable conditions in psychiatry
- Adjustment disorders — anxiety or low mood in response to a specific life stressor.
Attention
- ADHD (adult and adolescent) — thorough evaluation, careful treatment, no shortcuts.
Trauma and OCD
- PTSD — combat trauma, sexual assault, accidents, abuse, occupational trauma.
- OCD — obsessions and compulsions, including (later) TMS for severe cases.
- Trichotillomania & skin-picking — body-focused repetitive behaviors. Treatable.
Sleep
- Insomnia and other sleep problems — CBT-I, careful medication, evaluation of underlying causes.
Substance use
- Alcohol, opioid, stimulant, and cannabis use disorders — including buprenorphine for opioid use disorder.
When we’re not the right fit
Some situations need a different level of care than what we provide. We don’t treat:
- Active psychotic episodes that need inpatient care
- Active eating disorders that need medical stabilization
- Couples or family therapy
- Kids under 12
If your situation is one of these, we’ll help you find someone who can really help.
